Faruqi & Faruqi, Lead Counsel, Granted Final Approval of $10,000,000 Class Action Settlement Against Godiva Chocolates

Judge Loretta A. Preska, District Court Judge for the Southern District of New York, today, granted final approval of a class action settlement reached with defendant Godiva Chocolatier Inc. (“Godiva”). The settlement is valued by the Court at over $10,000,000 and resolves allegations that Godiva misled consumers that certain Godiva products were made exclusively in Belgium.  In fact, they were not.   A copy of the order granting final approval can be found here.  Faruqi & Faruqi are co-lead counsel.
