FARUQI & FARUQI, LEAD COUNSEL, OBTAINS CLASS CERTIFICATION IN MESA AIR SECURITIES CASE

On January 24, 2022, Judge Michael Liburdi of the District Court of Arizona issued an Order granting class certification of the class of shareholders proposed by Lead Plaintiff DeKalb County Pension Fund in Lowthrop v. Mesa Air Group Incorporated, et al., Case No. 2:20-cv-00649-MTL. The matter will proceed as a class action, with the class being defined as “all individuals and entities that purchased or otherwise acquired Mesa's securities pursuant and/or traceable to the Company's initial public offering commenced on or around August 9, 2018, and were damaged thereby.” In the Order, Lead Plaintiff DeKalb County Pension Fund was elevated to the status of Class Representative and Lead Counsel Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP was elevated to the status of Class Counsel for the class, with The DeConcini Firm as Liaison Counsel.
