On June 1, 2018, United States District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York appointed Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP to serve as Lead Counsel in DeSmet v. Intercept Pharmaceuticals, Inc., et al., No. 1:17-cv-07371-LAK.
