Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP Reaches Settlement On Behalf Of Shareholders Of Geron Corporation

Faruqi & Faruqi is pleased to announce that on March 2, 2017, Lead Plaintiff Vinod Patel, on behalf of himself and a class of all persons who purchased Geron common stock between December 10, 2012 and March 11, 2014, reached a settlement with Geron Corporation, Dr. John A. Scarlett, M.D., Olivia K. Bloom, and Dr. Stephen M. Kelsey, M.D. (“Defendants”), whereby Defendants will pay $6,250,000 in cash to shareholders in exchange for a release of the claims against them.  Lead Plaintiff has moved for preliminary approval of the settlement from the Court.
