On September 18, 2024, United States District Judge Matthew T. Schelp of the Eastern District of Missouri appointed Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP, as sole lead counsel in Wilkinson v. Futurefuel Corp. et al, 4:24-cv-00881-MTS. According to the lawsuit, defendants throughout the Class Period made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose, among other things, that: (1) FutureFuel did not have adequate internal controls; (2) FutureFuel’s financial statements were misstated; and (3) as a result, defendants’ statements about its business, operations, and prospects, were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all times. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.
